TIMESMITH

Timesmith is a general-purpose debate timer for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Timesmith automatically tracks prep time and sets the timer to the correct numbers; all you have to do is hit Start and Stop.

Timesmith supports all major formats of debate: policy (high school and collegiate), Lincoln-Douglas (high school and NFA), public forum, parliamentary (American, British, World Schools, Stoa, CHSSA, and Australia-Asia), IPDA, mace debate, public debate, Karl Popper, and mock trial.

To install Timesmith, visit www.cogdebate.com/timesmith on your iPhone or iPod Touch and bookmark the page to your home screen. After you run it once, Timesmith will download a copy of itself and behave just like an ordinary offline app, and will not require an internet connection.

Note: Since Timesmith is web-based, it cannot prevent your phone from going to sleep automatically. While the timer will keep running even while off, you will probably want to turn off Auto-Lock (under General in the system settings) before using Timesmith in an actual round.
